Enrollment

To register at Grant it will take about 30 minutes and you will need to bring the following:

  • Proof of your residency. A recent (within the last 30 days) utility bill (gas, electric, sewer or cable); signed lease; military housing orders; or, recent documents addressed to you from social services
  • Immunization records. No student will be admitted to a California school without immunization records. All middle school students must show proof of a pertussis booster (DPT, TDaP).
  • Recent report card

If you are new to San Diego Unified Schools you will need additional items:

  • Birth certificate
  • Standardized test scores
  • Any other school records that would be helpful in your child's placement

If you live outside the Grant TK-8 School residential area, or are not currently enrolled at Grant and would like to attend our school, please fill out an Enrollment Options application. Submitting an online application is required during the Open Enrollment Options application period which begins in October.
